Walden Savings Bank was honored to celebrate the dedication of the new Walden Savings Bank Horse Barn at Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County, marking another milestone in our long-standing commitment to strengthening the communities we serve.
The new horse barn will provide a dedicated space for Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County's agricultural education and 4-H youth development programs, giving young people opportunities to build leadership skills, gain hands-on experience, and develop a lifelong appreciation for agriculture and animal science.
Cornell Cooperative Extension has long played an important role in connecting research, education, and community through innovative programming that supports local agriculture, families, and youth. Its 4-H programs, in particular, empower young people to develop confidence, responsibility, and practical life skills through experiential learning.
