Walden Savings Bank Honored with Community Service Award by the Mental Health Association in Orange County

Walden Savings Bank was honored to receive a Community Service Award from the Mental Health Association in Orange County during the organization's annual meeting, recognizing the generosity and community spirit of our employees.

The award celebrates the impact of our annual 22 Days of Giving program, a holiday tradition that empowers employees at our Scott's Corners Headquarters to make a difference in the communities we serve. Each year, employees nominate and vote for local nonprofit organizations and causes that are meaningful to them, ensuring that donations support organizations making a lasting impact throughout the Hudson Valley.

What makes the 22 Days of Giving program especially meaningful is that it is driven by our employees. Their passion for giving back reflects Walden Savings Bank's commitment to community involvement and our belief that local decisions create the greatest local impact.

We are incredibly grateful to the Mental Health Association in Orange County for this recognition. It is an honor to stand alongside so many organizations dedicated to strengthening our community.

Congratulations as well to this year's fellow Community Service Award recipients:

  • SUNY Orange FoodTEC

  • Ben's Fresh

  • First Federal Savings of Middletown

  • The Anthony Family Foundation for Autism Support & Behavioral Health Services
